150,000 Can Salute

The DI is hosting a special appreciation lunch, and we are paying for it with aluminum.

The lunch is organized to thank donors and volunteers.

150,000 empty cans have been collected and returned for the deposit to pay for the event. That’s a lot of aluminum!

Homelessness and poverty are issues that affect all Calgarians, especially those living in and around the downtown core. Supporting establishments like the Drop-In & Rehab Centre help to curb and end the vicious cycle of poverty.

Thank you for volunteering and for donating to The DI.
