Sandwich Preparation

A large percentage of DI clients are fully employed, but unable to sustain housing due to a lack of income and additional factors. For many of them, work schedules make it impossible for them to make it to the DI during scheduled meal times. Whether they work nights or days, we provide for their nutritional needs with a bag lunch. We provide several hundred bag lunches daily, and as we know, sandwiches don’t make themselves! We are in constant needs of volunteers – individuals and groups – who are able to help us offer this vital sandwich service to our clients.
