Volunteering @ The DI

You make it possible to serve meals, run programs, operate our facilities, and care for vulnerable clients.

Serve a Meal

Here at the DI we serve approximately 3,500 meals a day, 365 days per year.

With this many meals being served daily, we rely heavily on our volunteers to make sure everyone gets a meal. We invite individuals or groups to come to the centre and serve a meal to our clients.

This is a powerful experience and allows our volunteers a chance to personally interact with our clients.
