Tip Your Hat

As Stampede approaches, Tip Your Hat and the First Flip 2010 Stampede Breakfast are right around the corner. Here at the DI we are getting ready for Stampede with the anticipation of auctioning off some remarkably beautiful Cowboy Hats for the event.

In partnership with This Is My City, the DI organized an afternoon on May 31st where clients were able to add their own artistic skills to a white cowboy hat.

The afternoon was full of fun and laughs and the inspiration surrounding each individual’s hat was as unique as the individuals themselves; from butterflies to sunsets to buttons. Some remarkable creations were made and we couldn’t have done it without the help of everyone who participated. A very special thanks goes out to Reg Knelson and Volunteer Cheryl G. for helping gather and organize all the needed materials for the afternoon.

The First Flip 2010 Stampede Breakfast will be held July 8th from 8:00am to 10:30am on Stephen Avenue Walk so come on down and Put Your Cash On The Line For A Cause!
