This year, the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre (DI) is celebrating its 50th Anniversary!

WHERE: 50 Years of Ending Homelessness

WHERE: 50 Years of Ending Homelessness

In celebration, the DI published a book called Where: 50 Years of Ending Homelessness.   Where embodies the true essence of homelessness in Calgary.

Words ranging from “Struggle” and “Broken”, to “Courage” and “Community”, says DI Executive Director Debbie Newman, “remind us why the DI is an important gathering place for all people. Vivid photographs from Christina plus Nathan Photography provide an eye-opening and thought provoking view of the experience of homelessness. The stories are joyful, sad, and inspirational.

Where is a “must read” book for all those people who wonder why so many Calgarians are in need.
