The DI Christmas WishList is Back!

And you’re invited to join us in creating joy at the DI this Christmas! Visit the DI Christmas WishList, read the stories of our clients, and pick one or as many as you wish, and gift them that special something they requested.

Your support can keep someone warm with a warm winter jacket, gloves, hat, boots. You can help someone get home for Christmas, stay in touch, fill their reading pleasure. You can help someone move on, move out, move forward.

The DI Christmas WishList is an online database where homeless Calgarians share their stories and their “all I want for Christmas” wish. In past years, requests ranged from a new pair of workboots to phone minutes to a hug and a card. Last year, Brian Dekker, a client in his mid-fifties, asked for his two front teeth and received a new set of dentures. His story can be seen online at www.wishlist.thedi.ca. Calgarians are invited to read the stories, purchase a gift for the person of their choice and drop the gift off at the DI.
