McNeil Family and Friends

The McNeil Family and Friends Group started like most other groups….by word of mouth. They started volunteering at the DI by coming in with a group called Connell Crew. Kathy who organizes the group, called in December and set up a few dates. As the group became bigger and more and more of her friends came out they asked for set dates of the week. Every second Saturday of the month, Kathy and her gang come down to serve a hot meal – and their giving just keeps growing. They sponsor Turkey Lunches, donated over 1000 DAWG shoes and Hygiene supplies. One volunteer inspired her employer to come in as a group and sponsor a lunch and serve it!

It is people like the McNeil Family and friends that make what we do possible and make the DI a great place. We look forward to having you continue to support and thank you for everything Kathy!
