Mike Holloway, The Whistler will entertain

Monday, July 25, Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd is sponsoring a fabulous Chicken Parmiggiana dinner and dessert. Big thanks to the Macquarie team who will be onsite to help serve dinner!

And to top the evening off, The Whistler, Calgary’s own, Mike Holloway, will perform his award winning music for our dinner guests. Mike has performed at Calgary Stampeders games, and at the Calgary Stampede, among other notable locations. In 2009, Mike was awarded the Country Gospel Music Association’s Whistler of the Year Award.

 Mike has an incredible talent. A former client at the DI he has three years ten months of sobriety under his belt and is giving his considerable talent, time and energy to ensuring others find the path out of homelessness and addiction. After reading a copy of the DI’s latest book, WHERE, Mike offered to volunteer his musical talents at the DI. having heard Mike whistling on Stephen Avenue Walk during Stampede — it promises to be an entertaining evening for everyone!
