Jan B.
I am always very excited when I hear that Jan B. wants to volunteer at the DI. Jan takes a tremendous amount of pride in the appearance of our facility. Jan has often said to me that he feels great when he works hard and can see the result. I don’t think that anyone (in the history of this building) has scrubbed the stairs like Jan does. I would include the entire maintenance department in that statement as well. It is always a pleasure having Jan around and his work ethic is incredible. Thanks Jan!

Jan’s energy and persistence to keeping our building clean is outstanding! Not to mention, the pride he has for the work he does for the DI is commendable and worthy of recognition. For every hour he puts in its more like 3 hours because of his attention to detail and getting the job done in such a precise and tireless fashion.
Because of his passion, it is people like Jan and others that demonstrate the overwhelming support for the existence of a place like the Calgary Drop In Centre.
