Invisible

Invisible @ Theatre Junction Grand June 14-15 8pm

A woman flees domestic violence, sells her body in order to feed her children, hides in a public washroom throwing up her meal, and cuts herself for the great shame she carries. She cries out, “Is anybody out there?  Does anyone understand? Am I alone?” She is not alone.

Through hip hop elements, contemporary dance and film, Mpact Dance’s “Invisible” brings to light the concept that although women’s issues may seem individual in nature, they are societal. 

The show is a call for all women to be seen for what they are, beautiful human beings.  The show also raises awareness for other organizations that help women in need, organizations like The DI.
