The unprecedented flooding that swept through Southern Alberta was devastating and along with many other buildings, the Calgary Drop-in Centre was heavily damaged. The Calgary Drop-in Centre supports over 1,300 of Calgary’s most vulnerable citizens. It was evacuated while the water was spilling over the river banks around them. The water eventually rose as high as the door knobs on the main floor of the Centre. The Food, Clothing and their entire Computer training centre were destroyed as a result of the flooding.Along with our fellow Calgarians, Journey Energy Inc. and our partners Questor Technology Inc., Sajak&Farki want to help those affected by the flooding. We are focusing our efforts on fund raising for the Calgary Drop-in Centre.

For a minimum donation you can receive a “KEEP CALM and STAMPEDE ON” button (1/$3, 2/$5, 10/$20); 100% of the proceeds will go to the Flood Relief efforts at the Calgary Drop-In Centre. For large orders over 100 buttons, please contact: james.conner@journeyenergy.ca.

Buttons will be available on the Stephen Avenue Mall, across from the Glenbow Museum in front of Centini’s , starting Friday, July 5th at 7:00am and each weekday until the end of Stampede (11:00am to 1:30pm).
